So Nathan is on a cooking kick. Don't mind that at all and he's whipped up some tasty dishes thanks to the Food Network. So this morning he was making a marinate with oranges and whatever else. He only used half the orange so I helped myself to the other half for a morning snack. Took one, tiny bite and was done. Too sweet for the morning? no. Already full from breakfast? no. Too garlicky? huh. What would provoke me to make such a ridiculous suggestion? Oh maybe because my husband was savvy enough to spare getting another knife dirty in the morning and only used one to cut both the garlic and the orange. Lovely. I can still taste the stupid garlic...
So not tasty this early in the morning.

Can I just say, we went to The Stinking Rose in BH a couple weeks back and ate garlic 'til we nearly died, and (though admittedly a garlicky orange would not be quite so tasty) it was DELISH...but I was just a little weirded out the next day (or two) when I had seriously garlic-scented poop. Now THAT is not so appetizing first thing in the morning, let me tell you. Super-funny, though...I have this mental image of you taking a bite of a fat, juicy, seedless orange, then going "UGH! WHAT THE...?!?!" Awesome.
tasty! whenever i cut garlic on my cutting board, the next food to touch the board, even after a hearty scrubbing, no doubtedly will taste like garlic. so yummy.
